Description

Lyman Case Length and Headspace Gauges are available in various sizes suiting both pistol and rifle calibres. They are used to determine the suitability of a cartridge as to wether or not it will safely chamber in a firearm. Reloaders can easily determine whether a resizing die has adversely changed the dimensions of a case and therefore it suitability to be reloaded. By inserting a case into the gauge suitable to its calibre, reloaders can visually ascertain the length, the maximum diameter and the headspace of a cartridge.
